Best CreatorScope Alternatives in 2026 (Free & Paid)

CreatorScope alternatives, free and paid, compared on one question: does the tool show what is rising in your niche now, or only what worked in your past posts?

Best CreatorScope Alternatives in 2026 (Free & Paid)

Your last ten videos can tell you a lot about your last ten videos. They cannot tell you that a format nobody in your niche was using in July is quietly outperforming everything else in September.

That is the gap behind most searches for CreatorScope alternatives. CreatorScope is a sharp, cheap read on why your own posts plateaued. This page compares six real options on a different question: when you ask “what should I post next”, does the answer come from your own history, or from what is rising in your niche right now? Some of these tools are genuinely free to start, and we say which. We build one of them, so treat our description as interested and every fact as checkable. Every competitor fact below comes from that vendor’s own public pages, read on 29 September 2026. Prices move, so check before you buy.

What CreatorScope does well

Credit first. We read CreatorScope’s own site today. You drop your handle, with no connected account and no permissions, and it decodes your recent Instagram Reels or TikToks frame by frame to find the pattern behind your plateau and recommend what to post next.

Pricing is one-time, no subscription: €2.49 for a single video, €8.49 for up to 10, and €21.49 for up to 50. For a diagnosis, that is very hard to beat. We have given it real credit twice before, on analysis versioning in our CreatorScope alternative and on planning in Blossom vs CreatorScope.

What its pages do not advertise is any trend surface: no niche trend feed, no trending formats or sounds, no topic monitoring. Its “what to post next” is built from your own videos. That is a scope choice, not a flaw. For a creator whose problem is execution, your own history is exactly the right evidence.

Why your own history is half the answer

Your past posts answer “what works for me”. They are silent on “what is working now”, for a simple reason: you can only learn from formats you already tried.

That creates a blind spot with a specific shape. If a new format starts pulling ahead in your niche, a report on your own videos cannot see it until you happen to make one. By then the early window has usually passed. We covered the timing side in how early you have to be on a trend.

The opposite mistake is just as common: opening a platform-wide trending page and copying whatever is loud. A dance sound peaking across the app says almost nothing about what a cooking or finance audience wants this week, and we laid out what that costs in the price of an off-niche trend.

So of each tool below we asked three things:

  1. Is the trend answer scoped to my niche, or to the whole platform or region?
  2. Does it come back as something I can reuse (a named format, a hook type), or as a list of videos I still have to interpret?
  3. Does it keep watching, or do I have to remember to go and look?

One caveat covers every tool here, ours included. Knowing what is rising is not the same as making it work, and nothing on this page can promise a video will travel. Our reasoning is in no tool can guarantee a viral video.

This is ours. Blossom analyzes Instagram Reels and TikToks into one shared vocabulary of named formats and hook types, organized across 17 content categories. You pick the topics you want watched, and the trend view is scoped to them rather than to the whole app.

To ground this in what the product returns today rather than in memory, we opened it through Blossom’s own AI-client connection on 29 September 2026. Two things stood out.

  • Breakouts arrive already labeled. Every video on the 7-day trending list came with the format it is built on and the hook type it opens with. A phone launch clip was a product showcase opening on a product reveal. A short sibling clip was relatable humor opening on a relatability hit. “This got millions of views” arrives attached to a reusable shape.
  • A niche resolves into named formats, with a size and a direction. Scoped to Food & Cooking, the recipe demo (ingredients to plated dish) was by far the largest format, on thousands of analyzed videos. The food vlog, first-person eating and exploring, was a much smaller class of a few hundred videos, but it was the one marked as rising. That is the kind of answer your own history cannot give you if you have never made a food vlog.

Each format carries its average views, its engagement profile and the count of videos behind it, so you can tell a pattern with real evidence from one with a handful of examples. The number of topics you can watch scales with the plan, and so does how far back the trend view goes:

  • Starter, $9.99 a month: 10 topics, a 7-day trend window
  • Creator, $39 a month: 25 topics, 30 days
  • Pro, $99 a month: 60 topics, full history

Now the honest part, and there is plenty of it on this page:

  • No free tier. Creator, Pro and Agency start with a 7-day trial that asks for a card, and Starter is billed from day one. CreatorScope’s €2.49 single check costs less to try than we do, and four tools below let you start for nothing.
  • No YouTube Shorts. We cover Instagram and TikTok only, the same pair CreatorScope covers. Several tools below include Shorts.
  • Fixed categories. Our 17 categories are a set list, not a niche you describe in your own words. If your subject sits outside them, a tool with free-form niches fits better.
  • No alerts, no footage. Trends are a view you open, not a notification. We write scripts from what worked; we do not generate video.

2. TikTok’s own trend page, the free platform-level view

TikTok runs a public trend page inside its business creative suite. We loaded it today: it lists trending hashtags by region with post and view counts over a selectable window, with some hashtags tagged by industry. The top entries are visible without an account; seeing more asks you to log in or sign up. It costs nothing.

It is the right first stop for anyone on a zero budget, and the data comes straight from the platform. The limits are the ones in its design: TikTok only, scoped by region rather than by your niche, and the answer is a hashtag rather than a format you can go and film.

3. Augur, for always-on niche monitoring with alerts

Augur is the most direct answer on this page to the question of watching a niche, and it deserves saying plainly. Its site today advertises custom niches that monitor organic and paid short-form content 24/7 across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, detection of outliers, momentum and shifts, trend alerts when content breaks out in a monitored niche, AI analysis of hooks and sentiment, hook scripts, and PDF, Excel and CSV exports. A Content Studio is listed as coming soon.

Pricing today: a free trial with 100 one-time credits and 1 niche, no card required; Starter at $19 a month for 1,000 credits and 10 niches; Pro at $59 for 5,000 credits and 50 niches. Credits are spent per niche and per update, so check the math against how many niches you plan to run.

Alerts are the piece we do not have. If you want to be told the moment something breaks in your niche, start here, and start free.

4. Exolyt, deep TikTok trend and listening data

Exolyt is TikTok only and built like an analytics and social intelligence platform: hashtag deep dives with related trends, a sounds view, trending content discovery, account tracking, social listening with sentiment analysis, and video transcriptions. Its Basic plan is a free trial with no card, covering 1 tracked account and 1 hashtag with daily updates; paid tiers raise those to dozens and then hundreds. The pricing page we loaded showed prices in local currency rather than dollars, so check it in your own region.

If your world is TikTok and you think in hashtags and sounds, it is the most thorough data source here. Named format classes are not advertised, so the answer is the metrics and the content, not a labeled pattern.

5. Virlo, social listening across three platforms

Virlo describes itself as social listening and analytics for short-form video: automated agents that surface viral content and emerging creators, tracking of specific channels and videos with alerts, AI content creation informed by trend data, and Meta ads analysis, across TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.

Pricing today: Starter at $49 a month for 2,000 credits, Pro at $199 for 12,000, and custom Enterprise. A free trial is offered; its terms are not stated on the page we read. It suits a brand or agency that wants listening across all three platforms and is comfortable with a higher entry price.

6. Viralo, watching a short list of channels

Viralo is mainly an analyzer: it scores videos, reviews drafts before you publish, and writes scripts, across YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels. The trend-adjacent piece is its Creator Feed, which in its own words lets you monitor channels you admire, track their performance trends, and trigger analysis on any new upload with one click.

Pricing today: a free plan with 2 analyses a month and no card; Creator at $9 a month with 30 analyses and 3 feed channels; Pro at $22 with 10 feed channels; Agency at $59 with 50. There is a 7-day money-back guarantee.

Its monitoring is per channel, not per niche. If the creators you learn from are a short, specific list, that is more precise than watching a category. If you want the pattern across a whole niche, it is the wrong shape.

Look at the rows we lose. Four tools let you start for free, three cover YouTube Shorts, and two send alerts. CreatorScope remains the cheapest way on this page to get a proper read on your own videos. If your honest problem is execution rather than direction, you may not need a trend tool at all yet.

Pick by what you actually need

  • You want to know why your own videos stall. Stay on CreatorScope. A €2.49 or €8.49 report answers that better than any trend feed.
  • You want to spend nothing today. TikTok’s own trend page, Augur’s 100 credits, Exolyt’s Basic trial, or Viralo’s free plan. Blossom is not on this line.
  • You want to be told when something breaks. Augur.
  • You live on TikTok and think in hashtags and sounds. Exolyt.
  • Your niche is a short list of creators you admire. Viralo’s Creator Feed.
  • You want a named format you can go and film, with the evidence count attached, inside the topics you picked. Blossom, if your subject fits one of our 17 categories.
  • YouTube Shorts matters. Pick anything here except us and CreatorScope.

Can you use CreatorScope and Blossom together?

Yes, and the split is natural. CreatorScope reads your own recent posts and tells you where the execution leaks. Blossom’s trend view tells you which formats are gaining in your niche that you have not tried yet. One looks back at what you made; the other looks sideways at what your niche is starting to reward.

Questions people ask

Does CreatorScope show trends? Not as an advertised feature on the pages we read today. It analyzes your own videos and recommends what to post next from them.

Is there a free CreatorScope alternative? For trends, yes: TikTok’s own trend page is free, and Augur, Exolyt and Viralo have free starting points. Blossom does not; our trial asks for a card.

Which is cheapest for watching a niche continuously? Augur’s $19 Starter covers 10 niches with alerts, the lowest paid entry on this page for always-on monitoring. Blossom’s $9.99 Starter also watches 10 topics, without alerts.

Try it on a niche you already know

The fair test is a niche you understand better than any tool does. Ask each one what is rising there, and see which answer you could hand to an editor without translating it first. You can start a 7-day trial; it takes a card, and we cover 17 categories across Instagram and TikTok only, so check the FAQ first.
