Best Viral Video Analyzer Alternatives in 2026 (Free & Paid)

Analyzing a video you already found is the second step. The first is finding the right video to analyze, and most creators skip it. They paste whatever crossed their feed, get a careful report on it, and never learn whether that video was typical of their niche or a one-off from a different corner of the app.

That gap is one reason people search for Viral Video Analyzer alternatives. This page compares six real options on one question: can the tool show you what is working inside your own niche right now, before you pick something to study? Some are genuinely free, and we say which. We build one of them, so treat our description as interested and every fact as checkable. Every competitor fact below was read from the vendor’s own public pages on 2 October 2026. Prices move, so check before you buy.

What Viral Video Analyzer does well

Credit first. We read Viral Video Analyzer’s own site today, where the product calls itself ViralVid Analyzer. You paste a public video link, with no account needed, and get a “Creator Pack” back: a hook score with an emotion curve, three script versions (the original, a rewrite, and a platform-specific one), a shot-by-shot storyboard with timings, ten or more title ideas and hashtags, retention analysis, and publishing recommendations per platform. It accepts YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Vimeo links.

Pricing today is a Beta Free plan at $0 with no card. Creator ($12), Pro ($29) and Agency ($79) tiers are listed, but each one is marked “Upgrade Coming Soon”, so for now the free plan is the product. Sign-in with Google works, and TikTok and Instagram connections are marked coming soon.

For a free, detailed pack on one video, across five platforms, that is a generous offer. What the site does not advertise is a trend feed, niche monitoring or a saved library, so the question of which video to paste is left to you. That is a scope choice, not a flaw. We compared the two tools before on a different axis, one report per video versus a filterable library, in Blossom vs Viral Video Analyzer. This page is about the step before the paste.

A global trend feed and a niche trend view answer different questions.

  • A global feed tells you what the whole platform is watching. Useful for culture and sounds, but most of it is off-topic for a cooking account or a skincare account, and copying off-niche trends can confuse who your videos get shown to.
  • A niche view tells you which shapes of video are pulling views among content like yours. That is the list worth analyzing, because the patterns transfer.
  • Timing matters too. A format that is rising in your niche is a better bet than one that peaked last month. Our post on how early you need to be on a trend covers the curve.

So of each option below we asked three things:

  1. Does it show trends scoped to a niche, or only the whole platform, or nothing?
  2. Does a trend come back as something reusable (a named format or hook), or just as a list of videos?
  3. Can it then break a single video down, so you can go from “this is rising” to “this is why”?

One caveat covers every tool here, ours included. These are reads of content, not forecasts. None of them can promise a video will travel. Our reasoning is in no tool can guarantee a viral video.

This is ours. Blossom analyzes Instagram Reels and TikToks into one shared vocabulary of named formats and hook types, organized across 17 content categories. You pick the topics you want watched, and the trend view is scoped to them.

To ground this in what the product returns today rather than in memory, we opened the 7-day trending list through Blossom’s own AI-client connection on 2 October 2026, on a workspace watching food and café topics. What came back was a list of breakouts, each already labeled with the format it is built on and the hook it opens with:

  • A short café clip with millions of views came back as relatable humor, opening on a relatability hit.
  • A city food walk of about a minute and a half came back as a food vlog, opening on a question hook.
  • A 13-second solo travel memory reel came back as a travel montage, opening on an aesthetic mood-setting opener.
  • A barista’s end-of-shift clip came back as a POV video, opening on a POV hook.

That labeling is the point. “This got millions of views” is a fact you cannot reuse. “Relatable humor opening on a relatability hit is pulling in café content this week” is a shape you can try on your own footage, and then check with a full breakdown of hook, format, tactics and retention timeline.

How much of this you get depends on the plan:

  • Starter, $9.99 a month: 10 topics, a 7-day trend window
  • Creator, $39 a month: 25 topics, 30 days
  • Pro, $99 a month: 60 topics, full history

Now the honest part:

  • No free tier. Creator, Pro and Agency start with a 7-day trial that asks for a card, and Starter is billed from day one. Viral Video Analyzer is free today; we are not.
  • No YouTube Shorts or Vimeo. We cover Instagram and TikTok only. Viral Video Analyzer accepts five platforms.
  • Fixed categories. Our categories are a set list, not a niche you describe in your own words. Two tools below let you define a niche by keywords.
  • No alerts, no footage. Trends are a view you open, not a notification. We write scripts from videos that already worked; we do not generate video.

2. Runwave AI, a niche feed you define by keywords

Runwave is the closest match to this page’s question, and it deserves its place near the top. Its site today promises to show you what is going viral in your niche and then help you script it. You add competitor handles and niche keywords, and Starter includes one niche trending feed updated daily, with up to 20 competitors. Pro adds three niche feeds, on-demand refresh and up to 100 competitors. Each video gets a breakdown of hook, format and call to action, plus transcription and script adaptations.

Plans are Starter at $19 a month and Pro at $39, with a 7-day free trial and no card required. It covers Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. If you want to describe your niche in your own words rather than pick from a list, this is a strong option. We covered Runwave in more depth in our Runwave AI alternative.

3. Virlo, listening across three platforms

Virlo is a research and listening tool. Its pricing page today advertises tracking for competitor, client and your own accounts, outlier detection, alerts to Slack or Discord, and a custom niche that it scans daily. Each video gets analysis of hook, format, script and call to action. It also publishes free public lists of top TikTok videos and trending sounds.

Plans are Starter at $49 a month for 2,000 credits, Pro at $199 for 12,000, and Enterprise from $499, with a 7-day trial that starts at $0. It covers TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. If you need alerts and broad monitoring for a team, Virlo is built for it and we are not.

4. TikTok Creative Center, the free platform-level view

TikTok’s own trend tool is free, with a login. Its help pages describe trending hashtags you can filter by industry, market and time frame, with a trendline, related videos, audience insights and regional popularity for each. It also hosts a library of top ads. The live page would not render for us today, so these facts come from TikTok’s own help article on using Trends.

It is TikTok only, it filters by industry rather than a niche you define, and it does not analyze your own videos. As a free first look at what the platform is doing, nothing beats it.

ReverseClip finds trends through the accounts you choose to watch. It advertises competitor tracking with daily syncs, outlier detection for the top 1% of videos, and a word-by-word hook analyzer for the first three seconds, plus script recreation. A general trend feed is not advertised.

Plans are Starter at $29 a month (10 competitors), Pro at $79 (25) and Business at $199 (50), with a 7-day free trial and no card. It covers Instagram and TikTok. If you already know whose videos you want to study, this is a focused way to watch them.

6. PreAlgo, the free check for your own draft

PreAlgo sits on the other side of the job. It does not advertise a trend feed. It grades your own video before you post it, with a hook score, retention drop-off and fixes for calls to action, and advertises benchmarking against top performers in your niche. The free plan is one analysis a month with no card, then Creator at $9.99 for 15 analyses, Pro at $24.99 for 50 and Agency at $79.99 for 200. It covers TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

It also advertises predicted view ranges, which we do not offer and would not promise. If you have found your trend and made your video, one free check a month is a good habit.

Look at the rows we lose. Viral Video Analyzer, TikTok Creative Center and PreAlgo are free; we are not. Runwave and Virlo both let you define a niche in your own words, and both cover Shorts. Where we differ is what a trend is when it arrives: a named format and hook drawn from one shared library, with the full breakdown one click away, rather than a list of videos to interpret yourself.

Pick by what you actually need

  • You want a detailed free pack on one video, on almost any platform. Stay on Viral Video Analyzer.
  • You want a free look at what TikTok as a whole is doing. TikTok Creative Center.
  • You want a daily niche feed you define by keywords, with Shorts. Runwave AI.
  • You want monitoring and alerts across three platforms for a team. Virlo.
  • You already know which competitors to study. ReverseClip.
  • You want one free pre-post check on your own draft each month. PreAlgo.
  • You post on Instagram and TikTok, and you want trends that arrive as reusable formats and hooks inside the topics you chose. That is the case we make for ourselves.

Can you use Viral Video Analyzer and Blossom together?

Yes, and the split is natural. Use a niche trend view to decide which video is worth studying, then use whichever breakdown you prefer to study it. If you need a pack for a Vimeo or YouTube link, Viral Video Analyzer covers platforms we do not.

Quick answers

Is there a free Viral Video Analyzer alternative? Yes. TikTok Creative Center and PreAlgo are free to start, and Runwave and ReverseClip offer trials with no card. Blossom is not free.

Does Viral Video Analyzer show trending videos in my niche? Not on its public site as of 2 October 2026. It analyzes one pasted link at a time.

Which alternatives show trends inside a niche? Of the tools here, Blossom, Runwave AI and Virlo advertise niche-scoped trends. TikTok Creative Center filters by industry.

A last honest note

The best breakdown in the world is only as useful as the video you chose to break down. Pick from what is rising in your niche, not from whatever your feed served you, and the analysis starts paying off.

If a niche trend view is what you are missing, the 7-day trial at signup is the quickest way to test it. It asks for a card, so start it when you have a week to use it.
